Employees Donate Volunteer Time Off Pay to Assist in Ukrainian Relief Efforts
SentriLock is made of core values that are the foundation of our company; intelligent, resilient, customer focused, innovative, trustworthy, and passionate. Our employees take these values and translate them into providing the best customer service in the industry, but SentriLock is more than just that.
We also have a commitment to our community and supporting causes that make a difference globally. Each of our employees are allotted eight hours of Volunteer Time Off (VTO) to be used to work with a non-profit of choice. They can also choose to donate the value of their VTO to charitable organizations which include Habitat for Humanity, Susan G. Komen Foundation, Boys & Girls Club, and the REALTOR® Relief Foundation.
This month SentriLock made a commitment to support refugees’ children of Ukraine and partnered with UNICEF to collect over $2,000 worth of VTO donation hours to aid the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
“I decided to donate because I have seen the impact on refugees and families torn apart by war and conflict, said Leigh, SentriLock IT Infrastructure Manager. We often take for granted what we have and miss the small things that others cherish.”
James R., Senior Director/Regional Sales at SentriLock was asked why he donated his VTO to assist Ukraine he stated, “I am horrified by Putin’s hateful and unhinged actions against a peaceful, sovereign nation.”
If you would like to help in this cause you can make a donation through UNICEF. SentriLock will continue ongoing efforts to help make a positive impact in our local and global communities.
