Meet The Team: Daniel Newton

This week, we are featuring Customer Experience Specialist Daniel Newton! Get to know Daniel below.

 

How long have you been at Sentrilock? 

I have been here since 2014, so 9 years now.

 

How would you describe your role? What does your typical workday look like? 

My role as a Customer Experience Specialist is to provide world-class customer service and effective solutions that customers can pass along to their agents. I love to train people on our products and services, and knowing that they learned something new after calling the support team makes me happy.

 

Using 3 adjectives, how would you describe yourself, and why? 

Outgoing: I love to talk to anyone about anything.

Patient: I am here to listen and give you time to tell your story.

Motivated: I love to stay active physically and mentally.

 

Where are you from originally? Where are you based now? 

I was born in Cincinnati, OH and lived in Buffalo, NY for several years. I have now moved back to Cincinnati.

 

Do you have any hobbies you enjoy in your free time?

I love to be outdoors, whether it is hiking in woods, doing yard work, or watching my daughter cheerlead. 

 

What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

Before having surgery on my hips and knees, I could put my foot behind my head.

 

If you could have dinner with anyone (dead or alive) anywhere in the world for one night, where would you go, who would you bring with you, and what would be your meal of choice?

I would love to have dinner at Disney World with my daughter and all the Disney characters. My meal of choice would be a nice steak.
