Dear SentriLock Customers,

Over the past year, SentriLock has kept you informed about upcoming changes to our One Day Codes and how historic third-party integrations with ShowingTime and Broker Bay would evolve.

As a quick refresher, SentriLock enhanced our third-party integrations by implementing newly updated APIs to work with our SentriConnect® integration. The transition from allowing third parties to issue One Day Codes to instead providing direct app based SentriConnect® functionality will offer better security for properties and improved instant data for your agents. This was first communicated out to our customers in June of 2023.

To accommodate our third-party vendors, we extended the deadline for implementation from October 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024. However, as of now, these vendors have not yet implemented the required changes.

Should these vendors choose not to adopt the updated API by March 31, 2024, they will forfeit access to the access generation API, rendering them unable to generate access for non-SentriLock members.

However, once they move forward with implementing the updated API, access to non-SentriLock members will still be provided via SentriConnect®.

Please note: One Day Codes and FlexCodes are not being discontinued. Lockbox owners can still create and send these codes to showing agents as needed. However, third-party showing services will no longer be able to generate these codes.

Despite our outreach and extensions of timelines, our third-party vendors remain unwilling to implement the necessary changes. We understand the importance of maintaining these integrations and recognize the potential impact on you and your members should they be discontinued. By contacting your showing service vendor, you can encourage them to make the required changes for a seamless transition and uninterrupted service.
