SentriConnect® is a powerful, secure access solution designed for non-member agents, contractors, and service providers, ensuring they can efficiently and safely enter properties. With the SentriConnect® app, users receive temporary access permissions, trackable entry, and detailed access logs, providing property owners and agents with peace of mind.

Common Questions Answered
General Support Questions:
- Make sure you are in an area that has Wi-Fi or Cellular service.
- Open you SentriLock App
- Credentials will automatically update, and you will see a GREEN checkmark on your home page. If not, close your SentriLock App and reopen and the update will occur.
- For iPhone, swipe the SentriLock App from bottom to top of your phone screen.
- For Android, look for box or bars by the Home key, tap close or clear all.
- On the Home page of the SentriLock App, select the “person” icon that is located either at the top or bottom of your screen. At the bottom of this screen, you will find your 9-digit numerical SentriKey ID.
- Go to the Log-In page on the SentriLock App and select “Forgot Password” Follow instructions by inputting your SentriKey ID and select “Send email”. You will receive an email shortly that will allow you to reset your Password.
- It’s best to contact your Association or MLS office to help determine why your account has this status and what is needed to activate the account.
- The easiest way is to call our Support line at 513-618-6800 or 877-736-8745, select Option 3 for paying your bill and follow the prompts. You will need your 9-digit SentriKey ID to complete the transaction.
- Note: to set up monthly recurring payments by making a payment on your online SentriLock account and simply checking the reoccurring monthly charge box.
- On the Home page of the SentriLock App, select the “person” icon that is located either at the top or bottom of your screen. You will see your other SentriLock account (s), select it and you will move to your other account. You will need to sign in to the other account.
- Just download the SentriLock App and sign in on your new device. It will automatically be registered.

- Note: You may encounter a device registration limit that prohibits the new device from being registered. Each time you use a new device to log into the SentriLock App, a device registration is used. If so, please call our Support department at 513-618-6800 or 877-736-8745.
- While the SentriLock app has an “Access Log” menu choice, we suggest logging in to your SentriLock account on our website.
- Select the drop-down menu and My Settings on your personal icon on the top right of the page.
- Select Account Settings on the left-hand side of the page.
- Select View Access log on the right-hand side of the new page.
- Choose the desire time range and choose Submit Changes
- Instruct them to go to their phone’s App Store and download the free SentriConnect App.
- Once downloaded, choose “Open” and follow the “Create Account” instructions.
- On your SentriLock App, select “My Lockboxes”
- Select Assign/Unassign Property
- Either Press Enter on the Lockbox or type in your Lockbox serial number and press “Search”
- Press “Assign”

- Note: If your listing is not imported into the SentriLock system yet, you can manually add your listing from the SentriLock App.
- Select the My Listings panel on your Home screen.

- Press the + button on the top right of the My Listings page.

- Enter your listing details and press Add New Listing.
SentriConnect® Common How-To's:
- Open and Login to SentriKey Real Estate app
- Tap the ☰ at the top left
- Tap 'My Listings'
- Tap on the address access will be granted for
- Expand the 'Grant Access' section and tap 'Grant SentriConnect Access'
- Lockboxes must be assigned for SentriConnect access to be granted:
- If BLE lockbox is assigned, jump to step 7.
- If non-BLE lockbox is assigned, the user will receive a prompt to generate a One Day Code instead as SentriConnect is not compatible with this generation of lockbox.
- If no lockbox is assigned, the app will ask the user to choose which lockbox is on the listing. Once the user has selected the lockbox, they will be prompted to designate an 'On Listing Since' date and region the listing is in. Complete these and tap 'Assign Lockbox.' Tap 'Continue' to confirm and move on with granting access for SentriConnect as normal.
- Complete the fields as required: SentriConnect user's email, start date and time, end date and time
- Tap 'Grant Access' once fields are complete and authenticate with PIN or biometrics.
- The user will receive a success message and may tap 'Done' to return to the 'My Listings' page for this property.

Tap the notification for the access the user wishes to revoke access to

Tap 'Revoke Access' and the user will see a confirmation screen. Tap 'Revoke' to confirm.
Please note, access in the future are the only ones that can be revoked. Accesses that began before the current time may not be revoked as they may currently be in process and we don't want the key to get stranded!

Review messages for titles that start as 'SentriConnect Access...'
That's about the only option in the app. One could also review SentriConnect accesses used via the Access Log section in the ☰ menu.
- Open and Login to SentriKey Real Estate website
- Click the '≡ Listings' on the left-hand navigation panel
- Find and click the '...' to the right of the listing the user wishes to grant access to
- Click on 'SentriConnect' → 'Grant Access'
- Lockboxes must be assigned for SentriConnect access to be granted:
- If BLE lockbox is assigned, jump to step 6.
- If non-BLE lockbox is assigned, the user will receive a prompt to generate a One Day Code instead as SentriConnect is not compatible with this generation of lockbox.
- If no lockbox is assigned, the app will ask the user to choose which lockbox is on the listing. Once the user has selected the lockbox via the top search box, they will be prompted to designate an 'On Listing Since' date and region the listing is in. Complete these and click 'Assign Lockbox.' Click 'Continue' to confirm and move on with granting access for SentriConnect as normal.
- Complete the fields as required: SentriConnect user's email, start date and time, end date and time
- Click 'Grant Access' once fields are complete and the user will receive a green notification panel at the bottom of the page indicating current status of this attempt:
- If this is a new user, the prompt will indicate as such and dispatch a new user invitation email. The email will inform the new SentriConnect user of the process for registering their account, downloading and logging into the app, and how to use the app.
- If this is an existing user, the prompt will indicate as such! The SentriConnect user who has been granted access will receive push notifications via their app as well as an in-app Message Center notification.
- The user will be returned to the SentriConnect access history for that listing.

Click 'Revoke Access' to the far right of the access granted that the users wishes to revoke and the user will receive a green notification panel at the bottom of the page indicating the successful revocation.

Typically, this process begins via invitation from a REALTOR using the SentriKey Real Estate lockbox system! While a user could willy nilly download the app and create an account, this segment is written from the most common approach!
- Open and review the invitation email from the device desired for accessing. Yes, this can be done from another device, but this makes life just a tad simpler down the road.
- Download and install the app via the 'Download SentriConnect' link
- Tap the 'Create Account' button on the app's homepage
- Complete the activation process:
- Input and confirm email address - Email address may not match an existing REALTOR account
- Input & confirm cell phone number - Email address may not match an existing REALTOR account
- Input 4 digit verification code from text
- Input account information such as first name, last name, role, password, PIN, etc.
- Login with new account
Users looking to update their account info can easily do so via the avatar icon which will offer the following functions:
- Update My Info - Name & Role - Tap, update fields as desired, tap 'Save'
- Update Phone Number - Tap, input and confirm new cell phone number, tap 'Next' verify 4 digit security code texted, and tap 'Update Phone Number'
- Update Email Address - Tap, input and confirm new email address, tap 'Update Email Address'
- Change Password - Tap, input and confirm new password, and tap 'Save' (6-20 characters, minimum of 1 upper case/lower case/number)
Opening a key bin in SentriConnect is as easy as pressing ENT while the app is open! Users may tap on an access granted to see additional details as desired (pictured below) and how to open the key bin. The key bin may also be opened by pressing ENT while on this page.
Akin to the REALTOR app, the SentriConnect app captures all notifications in the Message Center which can be reviewed and deleted as desired.
Occasionally, you may find that a user desires to delete their account! This, of course, is an easy thing to accomplish! Users may elect to do this by:
- Tap ≡ → 'Settings'
- Tap 'Delete Account'
- Tap 'Confirm'
The account and personal information will be deleted immediately.
What is the SentriConnect® Support Portal
SentriLock team members may find themselves in situations where the data available via the previous areas is insufficient to resolve a situation! For these situations, SentriLock’s IT team has built a lovely little portal that has the things that you may need!

Click the link here and bookmark it if you haven’t! Same ol’ SentriLock credentials will get you in if you have a Support or Sys Admin permission!
What Do You Have Access To?
This portal is the ONLY place where a user can have visibility of SentriConnect® accounts and accompanying account info, review affiliated events by SentriConnect® user, and even delete the account. Typically, you might use the portal for:
- Reviewing Accesses & Outcomes
- Reviewing Account Activity
- Editing Email Addresses
- Deleting Accounts
All of these can be accomplished by pulling up a SentriConnect® Account:
- Open and login to the SentriConnect® Support Portal
- Use the search field at the top of the page to search for information such as name, email, or phone number. A brief array of information will be displayed
- Click on the user to unveil all user information and actions a. User Information - First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Cell Phone Number, Role, and Account Status. Please note, email is the only field you can adjust. To do so, click 'Edit' to the right of the email address. Input the new email address and click 'Save' b. Security Questions & Answers - Use these to verify caller if needed c. View Accesses Granted - List of all accesses granted to this user d. View Accesses Used - List of all accesses used by this user e. Account Event Log - Breakdown of all events occurred under this user's account, e.g. invitations, activations, forgotten passwords, etc. f. Delete Account - Click on and confirm to delete the account if requested
