SentriLock Highlights Jennifer Snyder for Women’s History Month

This is the third in our series spotlighting the women of SentriLock with Jennifer Snyder, one of our Senior Customer Success Managers.

How did you get into your field?  

After high school, I started working in a copy center for a foreclosure law firm. After working there for 4 years, I had a co-worker who became a friend that moved over to SentriLock and I followed her onto the Support team. I spent three years on the phones as a CSR (CES now) and then was promoted to a TQA (Floor Lead) for three years. During that time, I assisted with managing the floor, taking escalated calls, developed a process for responding to feedback/responses from end users, and handling the locksmith processes. I was then promoted to CRM (CSM now) and have been on this team for almost eight years now.  

Who’s your female hero and why?  

I have been very fortunate to have worked with many fierce women in this industry who have and continue to inspire me to always be the best I can both personally and professionally. If I were to pick just one hero, I will always pick my mother. She taught and instilled in me many of my work habits and passion for customer service. I hope that I will be a successful leader that encourages young women like those I have been fortunate to work with now and in the future. 

Coolest part about your job?  

Getting to work with and meeting so many professionals across the country. I am passionate about our customers, and I appreciate and feel very grateful for every relationship I have had with our customers over the years. I truly have made irreplaceable friendships with customers and many of my team members at SentriLock!! We’re a SentriFamily! 

Advice for young women in the workforce:  

Always keep in mind this great quote from Legally Blonde “If you’re going to let one stupid [jerk] ruin your life, you’re not the girl I thought you were.” It has helped me several times with not giving up and continuing to grow as an individual.
