Women’s History Month | Amy DuBose

SentriLock Highlights Amy DuBose for Women’s History Month 2023

Amy DuBose, Sales Enablement Manager

You might not know it, but March is Women’s History Month, a time to honor and spotlight women who have made contributions to the world, but haven’t always gotten the recognition they deserve. Here at SentriLock, we want to highlight just a few of the many women who have made a difference in our ability to serve our customer and continue to be a “Best Place to Work”. And to all of the women at SentriLock, thank you for everything you do.

Our series begins with Amy DuBose, Sales Enablement Manager.

How did you get into your field?

I was a REALTOR® Association Executive for over 15 years before deciding to take my career in a different direction. I was drawn to SentriLock because they are a true industry partner. Andrew Sims, VP of Revenue, brought me into the sales department initially as the Technical Sales Coordinator and then I transitioned into my current role last August. Since starting with the company, I have enjoyed working with our business and product teams.

Who’s your female hero and why?

Brené Brown is one of my favorite authors. She speaks to me because she works a lot in the vulnerability space. Through her work, she has helped so many men and women embrace vulnerability and channel it in really positive ways. She is also a huge advocate for women’s rights in our country and focuses a lot of her work on women.

Coolest part about your job?

I work with a fantastic team. They’re positive and really know the industry. Through working with them I have learned so much about this side of the real estate world. Every day is an opportunity to learn something new.

Advice for young women in the workforce:

Don’t be afraid to advocate for what you need and want in life. Speak up, step up, and channel your inner strength.
