SentriLock, LLC has donated more than $7,000 to the Dayton REALTORS® Foundation to aid in disaster recovery after May’s devastating tornadoes.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
West Chester, Ohio. (June 12, 2019) – SentriLock, LLC has donated over $7,000 to the Dayton REALTORS® Foundation to aid in disaster recovery after May’s devastating tornadoes.
The 16-year-old technology and security company has a Volunteer Time Off (VTO) program that allows employees to use up to eight working hours to volunteer at a charity of their choice or donate the equivalent dollar value of their VTO to a charity. Many employees chose to donate their VTO to the Dayton REALTOR® Foundation in response to recent devastation in the Dayton area, and SentriLock decided to match the funds contributed, dollar for dollar. Employees gave a total of 96 hours, taking action to assist those who have been impacted by the storms.
HR Director Geri Morgan, who leads the VTO initiative, is a strong supporter of community action. “Our employees are extremely caring. When this drive was announced, the response was impressive. The tornadoes hit very close to home for many of our team members, so the foundation gave them an opportunity to contribute to the rebuilding of neighborhoods. SentriLock employees are known for pulling together and making a difference in both our workplace and to help our community.”
The check will be presented to the Dayton Board of REALTORS® on Tuesday, June, 18th.
