How to use the Power Paddle with SentriSmart™ at a Bluetooth® REALTOR® Lockbox

The power paddle provides a temporary power source to the Bluetooth® REALTOR® Lockbox. If the internal batteries in the lockbox are dead, you will need a temporary power source to allow you to open the key compartment and replace the internal lockbox batteries.

Note: It is important to read through these directions before you use the power paddle at a lockbox.

To determine if the lockbox batteries are dead, press the ENT button on the lockbox. If the lights on the lockbox do not illuminate and the lockbox does not make any sounds, the batteries are dead.

Before using the power paddle at a lockbox, make sure you have the following items:

  • The power paddle
  • 2, new CR123A batteries (obtainable from your Association)
  • A Phillips head screwdriver
  • Your mobile phone
  • The SentriSmart™ application (installed on your mobile device)

In order to use the power paddle at a Bluetooth® REALTOR® Lockbox, use the following steps:

  1. Insert the power paddle into the lockbox.
  2. Turn the power paddle on.
  3. Open the SentriSmart™ application and either stay on Mobile Access or Lockbox Tools.
  4. When the Status B light illuminates on the power paddle, press the ENT button on the lockbox keypad.
Note: If the lockbox does not respond, the issue is NOT the batteries. Contact SentriLock Support to report your lockbox. The contact number for SentriLock Support is:

  6. Tap on Open the Key Compartment.
  7. Enter your PIN into SentriSmart™ and tap OK.
  8. The lockbox motor will begin turning and the lockbox key compartment will open.
  9. Tap OK in SentriSmart™.
  10. Once you have been able to open the lockbox key compartment, remove the battery cover using the Phillips head screwdriver and replace the lockbox batteries.
  11. When the new batteries have been installed, go through the process of re-opening the key compartment even though it is already open.

Doing this, will reset the motor and the internal lockbox clock.

Once the lockbox has successfully reset, it is ready again for normal use.
