Sentrilock, Lockboxes are Making National News

The importance of lockboxes to the real estate industry has caught the eye of a national news service: RealtyTimes.com recently published an in-depth, syndicated story headlined, "Lockbox Wars Heat Up On New Product Offerings." The story examined recent technological advances to lockboxes that have enhanced security while providing agents new tools for tracking home access and showings.

But what really caught our eye about the story was how RealtyTimes.com Editor Blanche Evans took note of SentriLock's growing influence in this important arena of real estate.

"SentriLock has grown meteorically," Evans wrote, and "has appeal to smaller and mid-size boards, but it's starting to attract large boards, too."

Evans then noted a new SentiLock client, the 26,000-member Long Island Board of REALTORS®, Inc. (LIBOR), which happens to be the largest independent board in America. The story quoted Linda Bonarelli, a member of the LIBOR lockbox evaluation committee:

"When we invited lockbox companies to make their presentations to our leadership, SentriLock blew all the others out of the water in terms of features and the company behind this quality product," said Bonarelli, LIBOR's president and an industry veteran of more than 20 years.

Bonarelli works for RE/MAX North Shore and was a member of the committee responsible for evaluating lockbox solutions and vendors. LIBOR made the switch to SentriLock earlier this year.
